Paint Horses
Hello equestrians of the world! Today we will learn about Paint Horses. They are sturdy, beautiful, and they were prized by Native Americans. Let's begin!
Sturdy
Many Paints are used around farms in the US. With their stocky build, muscular legs, and unique markings, they sometimes earn extra points for their classic breed in rodeos. However, occasionally you can lose points in show jumping because some picky judges prefer solid colors.
Beautiful
Paint Horses have a two classes for their coloration. Skewbalds have any color with white markings. Piebalds have black and white markings.
History
Paints were prized by Native Americans for their camouflage coat. The natives could defend their tribes and surprise enemies on horseback since a Paint can blend in with the natural environment.
